Makis Moulos
I am a multidisciplinary artist based in Barcelona, Spain. I aim to combine poetry with art and art with prohibited needs. I organize performative poetry events since 2018, having contributed to Barcelona's and Athen's poetry scene for many years, and lately I´m focusing on experimental poetry with mindfulness sounds, and new sides of feelings via the intimate tunnels of myself.
I have experimented with global cultural acceptance of art, and I am now dreaming of a stable roller-coaster of emotions, hoping to give me a meaning of life. I have published 4 poetry anthologies, and I have performed in various poetry events and festivals around Europe.

In 2023 I co-directed with Amalia Christakopoulou my first long length film “Birthday”, an experimental documentary about mental health based on three poems of the Greek Poetry Slam Champion 2022 Manolis Nanouris, and the poet´s experience on hospitalization in a mental health clinic. The film was officially selected and was screened at the “International Experimental Film Festival” in Athens, Greece, in October 2023.
Various video poems of mine have been officially selected in video poetry festivals around the world.
